Yesterday D made a cell cake for extra credit in her biology class (and does she ever need the extra credit) and I thought it turned out very nicely and wanted to share a picture of her hard work.
On Saturday I got really motivated and cleaned the inside of the refrigerator and freezer. Of course E wanted to help. He is the best helper a mom could have and I've learned that if a child wants to help, let them. So as you can see, E helped by playing in bubbles and "washing" the things I put in the sink for cleaning. (Don't worry about the crazed look in his eyes...he was just so fascinated with the soapy bubbles.)
On the adoption front...we had our intake meeting. We are kind of doing things a tiny bit out of order. We have a ton of paperwork that needs to get done, fingerprinting, classes, physicals etc. This weekend we will be attending the required parenting classes #2 & #3 and then we will attend parenting class #1 at the end of the month. lots of stuff to be done in the next couple of months!!!
