Some people use real names in their blogs and others create fictitious names for family members etc. I, not being so sure what was proper, decided I would use mostly initials, but now I've decided to go ahead and use first names. I'm not sure if that is right thing to do either but for now that is the way it will be. If the few people who may happen to read this blog would like to let me know their thoughts on this matter...please do...I'd be interested to hear what you have to say about the whole name thing.

I don't use my husband's or son's name. Or put their pictures on my blog.

The internet is a big place and unfortunately there is the possibility that people I wouldn't let into my home, might read my blog.

Thanks for the input Robin. I totally worry about the privacy thing too. I basically started this blog for my family members who are out of the area so it would be kind of boring for them if it didn't have any pictures of our family life. I did make a couple of changes to my settings to ensure a little more security from unwanted eyes. I've also tried to eliminate some identifying info. I probably will continue to use initials or come up with some cute nicknames.
Also, before posting other people's picture on my blog I get permission first (the exception would be our family pictures at Christmas)
I just found out that a bunch of my family reads my blog. It makes me want to post pictures. I understand your dilemma.
