Britni's bridal shower & stuff

Britni’s bridal shower went great and was a lot of fun. Sean and I made the cake. Doesn’t it look fantastic? Fondant is wonderful. It’s my new cake decoration of choice. It’s so easy to use and the cakes looks like it was decorated by someone who knew what they were doing (which, if you know me is not the case). Back to the shower…we played three games: 1) how well does Britni know PJ? She got 15 out of 19 questions. 2) Participants had to draw a picture of the bride Britni while having the paper on their heads. Not an easy task but the pictures where pretty funny. 3) Wedding word scramble. Then it was time to open gifts. Things were going pretty well until…one of those gifts…you know the kind I’m talking about…the ones that make a young girl blush! It was so funny watching Britni open up lingerie. She was turning every shade of red and all giggly. She received so much nice stuff.

Sean’s clinical trial news: we went down to OC and the Lord blessed us with good traffic (if such a thing is possible in the LA area) and with really nice people who are running the trial. We learned how to give Sean injections and check his glucose. We pray he is getting the real thing, but only God and the drug manufacturer know that. It’s a double-blind study. So, for the next 6 months Sean will get two daily injections. I get to give them sometimes…fun stuff!
