Elias!  Our sweet Ethiopian Jewel turned 5 on Saturday.  Since he already had a big party to celebrate the occasion we took him out for a special birthday dinner.  Guess what he wanted for dinner?  Lobster and crab!!  What 5 year-old wants that?  After talking him out of going to Red Lobster (which is about an hour drive from our house), we took him to a local restaurant and had an OK dinner of shrimp & crab quesadilla and taco's.  Eli is a sweet & silly boy who has the sweetest heart. He LOVES to pretend he's an animal and is great at running on all fours. Seriously, the kid can run fast like that!   We are so thankful the Lord blessed us with this precious boy.

yep...he's standing on his own!  He started doing this about 1-2 weeks ago, but only for like a second. In the past couple of days he has been standing solo for about 30-60 seconds!
