9.1.1. Yep, that's the number we have called three time in the past few months. 1st time-a telephone pole on the street over from us was on fire; 2nd time-Eli was playing with an old cell phone, chatting away for the past several minutes, and it was only after I heard him ask, "Do you wanna come to my mom's birthday." that I took the phone and realized he was ACTUALLY talking to someone! After many apologies and a promise to re-teach him proper use of 9-1-1 I promptly tossed the OLD phone; 3rd time--about 1:00 AM this morning, after a very bright light, popping sound, and our 18 y/o daughter frantically coming up to our bedroom, I looked out our front window and saw that the wire on the telephone pole in front of our house on fire! I wanted to so badly to wake up Eli so he could see the police, fire engine, and PG&E trucks. He would have really love it:)

Other news from the past week-or-so...Sime has been sick with a fever the past few days and has nagging cold that won't go away and the coughing causes him to throw-up. I think he's is FINALLY starting to feel better. At least that's our prayer, oh, and for the rest of our family to protected from the nasty stomach flu that's going around. Sime also has his very first molar!!!!! It's on the upper left side. Maybe now he can chew on more types of food:) Eli is down to his last week of preschool and T-ball. I took the boys to the kiddie pool recently and all those swimming lessons have paid off. Eli swam like a little fish. It was so fun to watch him enjoy being in the water. It's at times like that, when I am just watching my kids, enjoying life and being blessed by the moment, that I am in such awe of God and all that he has given us. There really aren't words to explain it accurately.

I am thankful I am much more laid back now...you would have NEVER seen this scene when our girls where babies. Sorry girls:(

All relaxed and ready for bed. I know he is in desperate need of a hair cut...it's coming soon!

What an awesome daddy! He is so worn out from work each day, but praise the Lord, who gives him strength to wrestle and play with his boys!

"I'm comin' to getcha da-da!"
"gotcha"
Poor little guy...still so very sweet, even when he's feeling bad.
Rosy cheeks and soothing gel strip on the head

Daddy's turn to take care of sweet baby
