I was hoping to have ALL of our Christmas decorations and tree done by now, but alas, it was not to be.  This wonderful season always flys by so FAST and this year I really wanted to enjoy every ounce of it! Hopefully, we will at least get the tree decorated this evening.

Everyone is doing well.  Sean has been working even harder the past couple of weeks and has been busy running around with me and the kids on the weekends. He is beyond exhausted.  We are hoping this weekend will be a time for him to get the rest he desperately needs.  I haven't been doing much besides taking care of the kiddos and the home, testing for jobs, rearranging the house so the Christmas tree is in the BEST spot, and taking care of our new puppy. Thankfully, today I am mainly doing laundry--I know...fun, huh!  Dakota has a temp job for the next two weeks and is hoping to use the money she earns to enroll in beauty school.  She's been wanting to do this for awhile now but has been financially unable to do so. Eli is learning lots at school and it's so fun to see him interested in learning outside of school.  Today he sounded out the word "Bethlehem" all by himself.  Simon is doing great and talking more and more. Of course, he still doesn't eat as well as we'd like but is at least eating enough that he's making small gains in the weight department.

Sleeping sweetness!  I don't know he looks so grumpy.

This is how Mr. E sleeps.

Introducing Kiwi (poodle-terrier+??), she's two months-old.  It was in a moment of weakness that I found myself bring home this sweet puppy.

Eli and Dak

Please don't call CPS on us...they are just having fun and are NOT locked in! Seriously, we have a hard time keeping Simon out of the crate.  It's quite frustrating at times.

All three of the kids squished in Kiwi's crate.

I just realized how odd this picture looks, oh well:)
