Thanks to my good friend Robin(who is enjoying Maui with her husband), my family was the happy recipient of a box of organic fruits and vegetables. Some of the stuff in the box was recognizable, but some other stuff left me wondering "what is that!" Anyway, I made (or at least I thought I did) a nice vegi and tofu meal. I cut up the vegi's and tofu, seasoned it, and then roasted it in the oven. It was pretty tasty...at least Eli and I thought it was pretty good.
Here is what the rest of my family thought of it!
Also, school has started again for all my kiddos. I would show you a picture of Brit on her first day of her 4th year at CSUC , but since she's 7 hours away from us it ain't gonna happen.
Here's our senior

Here we are holding our sign celebrating our daughter's last year in high school...think of the the song "Celebrate good times, come on, let's celebrate"
And now...our sweet little guy who I am going to home school
Drum roll please...we have another driver in the family. Dakota has her permit and will begin behind the wheel training on Tuesday. I don't think I'm ready for this!!!
Adoption news: Nothing...nada...nil. I am certainly not exemplifiy Christ during this season of waiting. I'm am sooooo thankful He forgives me for the ugliness that creeps into my heart and flows out of my mouth...and also I am thankful He has blessed me with a wonderful husband who is loving me through my funk! The Lord has blessed me abundantly and I lack for nothing, but I am embarrased to say that at times like this I act like a spoiled brat who pouts and stomps her feet because she isn't isn't getting her way.
That's it for my update.

Are you ready for another driver? Good luck Dakota!
I bet Eli is excited about school! Such a smart cookie. It's been ages since we've seen him. We need another play date at the park!
